In 1975 Mary Baker and her neighbors worked together to support older adults in the Northside of Ann Arbor. Since this time, volunteers have been essential to the quality of care provided by Neighborhood Senior Services. This original "neighbor helping neighbor" philosophy continues to inspire the NSS volunteer program today!

Volunteer opportunities are fun, flexible, and fitted to your schedule and interest. Orientation, quarterly training sessions and ongoing support is also provided for volunteers who work directly with clients. We are always looking for individuals, couples, families and service groups to provide a range of services.
