Home Maintenance & Repair program offers seniors a reliable
and affordable option for the many odd jobs needed around
the home. Home repairs can be made to the primary house
structure only. Services include:
   
Plumbing
- Change light bulbs
- Replace defective light fixtures
- Replace fuses
Exterior Maintenance
- Repair/replace damaged mailboxes
- Trim shrubs that block pathways doors or windows for safety/security reasons
- Gutter cleaning and some repairs (one story only)
- Snow removal - Limited services
- Lawn mowing- Limited services
- West Nile Prevention
Security
- Repair/replace door knobs
- Repair/replace window or door locks
- Placement of address number for the house
- Install deadbolts
- Install carbon monoxide detectors
Weatherization
- Install and remove window air conditioners
- Storm window/screen seasonal exchange
- Change furnace filter
- Place plastic over windows
- Install weather stripping on doors
- Repair screens
- Heat tape application
Other Interior Maintenance and Repairs
- Bathtub and sink caulking
- Move furniture to clear pathways
- Take discarded items to landfill
