Home Injury Prevention
Many
homes are not designed to meet the changing needs of
aging residents. The Home Injury Prevention program
allows seniors to maintain independence through simple
home adaptations. A Home Injury Prevention specialist
can help identify potential safety risks in the home,
provide practical solutions and install a variety of
safety devices.
Home Safety Assessment & Guide
Neighborhood Senior Services can provide a Home Safety Assessment to alert senior residents of possible hazards and help create a safer home environment. NSS has developed a special Home Assessment Guide to streamline this process and to provide seniors & caregivers with a user-friendly tool.
Copy of the NSS Home Assessment Guide will be available online soon.
